The Continuing Education Department serves the Muckleshoot community by offering a range of workshops and programs for personal enrichment and educational recovery. Workshops are taught by cultural experts in their field and are open to enrolled students and community members, with strong suppor from Renton Tech instructors and our Continuing Education Program Manager.
FLAGSHIP PROGRAM
High School 21+ (HS21+)
HS21+ is a competency-based program, in partnership with Renton Technical College, where students earn high school credit for life experience. There are no minimum credit requirements, and the program is supported by RTC instructors and the Continuing Education Program Manager.
It's a flexible, respectful path to finishing your high school diploma — built for adults who bring real-world experience with them.

I have my Bachelors of Arts in History from Florida State University and my Masters of Arts in Eastern European History from the University of Hawai’i at Moana. I have been in education for over a decade, four of which have been in Adult Education. I am a Southern girl at heart, having spent my formative years in West Florida. I am from generations of military veterans and have lived all over the world. I am the daughter of Mary and granddaughter of John and Maryann. My grandfather and his family were raised in Choctaw, Oklahoma. My husband is active duty Navy, and we have chosen to plant our roots in the South Sound.
